Six Oaks is our attempt at living the good life. My husband and I aren’t from rural backgrounds but we have felt a calling to this way of life and want our daughter to know where her food comes from and learn to live in harmony with the land.

We moved in August 2015 and are attempting to turn 2.5 acres of quite wet land in the Fens into the smallholding of our dreams. We’ll be using our website (www.sixoaks.co.uk) to share some information about our animals, updates from around the smallholding in the form of our blog and (hopefully) a place to share the produce from the smallholding with you.
